I am interested in the determination of the three dimension of the three structure of proteins using the X-ray Crystallography technique. Such studies are critical in understanding the structure/function relationship in proteins. The X-ray Crystallography tool provides a well understanding of biological function and the mechanism of proteins, which contributes towards the design of new drugs or in the industrial and biomedical applications. Although the structures of proteins can be predicted using nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) along with X-ray Crystallography, Crystallography is the most widely used method.
